We’re happy to announce the promotion of Damary Correa to Assistant Branch Manager of our Auburn location! Damary has been with SCU for 21 years and admits that she was very nervous when she started working with the credit union. Damary stated, “I realized more and more I love working with our members, the communities we serve and really being there for their best interests to support them in any way. I really have to say that I enjoy my job.”
When she’s not at work, Damary truly enjoys spending time with her children, husband and precious granddaughter. “When I’m with them, my life is so complete,” said Damary. When asked to give us some “Fun Facts” about herself here’s what she had to say – “I love cooking, but I hate doing dishes. My favorite food is seafood (all types). When I’m not working, I can be found at one of my son’s sporting events. I DVR all of my favorite shows because it’s the only way I can catch up! I’m a person who doesn’t stay still; always on-the-go, and my co-workers are very aware of that. I tell myself that maybe I’ll slow down when I turn 50, but I doubt it!”
