We’ve been having tons of fun this summer! Southbridge Credit Union proudly made a $5,000 donation to the Southbridge Cops n Kids program during their Slip n Slide Challenge, which was held on Thursday, August 8th at Morris Street Field in Southbridge. Southbridge CU challenged all uniformed police officers, firefighters and emergency responders to take on the challenge. In exchange, SCU would pay $100 for each one of them who took the dive down the slip n slide!
The Southbridge Cops n Kids program does a phenomenal job bringing the youth of our community together and continues to break down barriers between youth and the police force. The program has been in existence over 20 years and we’re thrilled to support this program and see it continue to flourish throughout our community.
